Health Disclaimer
STCKD helps you keep your own records. It does not give medical advice. Please read this page before you rely on anything you see in the app.
1. Not medical advice
Nothing in STCKD, on stckd.app or in our emails is medical advice. We are not doctors, pharmacists or other healthcare professionals, and using the app does not create any doctor–patient or other professional relationship.
2. Not a medical device
STCKD is a personal log and reminder app. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, treat or relieve any disease, injury or condition. It has not been reviewed or approved as a medical device by any regulator.
3. No diagnosis, no treatment, no dose recommendations
- STCKD does not tell you what to take, how much, how often or for how long.
- It does not recommend, check, approve or adjust any dose.
- Every compound, dose and schedule in the app is typed in by you, from information you already have.
- The list of names that helps you fill in entries contains no doses and no advice on what a compound is used for.
4. The reconstitution calculator is arithmetic
The calculator only does arithmetic on the numbers you type in: the amount in the vial, the water you add, and the dose you enter. It turns them into a concentration, a volume and units on a U-100 insulin syringe. It does not know whether your dose is right, safe or suitable for you. Warnings that a result looks unusual are there to help you spot typing mistakes; they are not a safety check. Always double-check the units (mg or mcg, ml, syringe type) and the result with your prescriber or pharmacist before you use it.
5. The estimated-level chart is not a blood level
The estimated-level chart uses the doses you logged and a published half-life to draw a rough curve. It is an educational estimate only. It is not a measurement of anything in your body and must not be used to decide when or how much to take. Real levels depend on many things the app does not know.
6. Symptom, mood and weight tracking does not diagnose
You can record symptoms, their severity, mood, energy and body weight. STCKD shows you your own entries and charts. It does not interpret them, does not tell you what they mean, and does not warn you about side effects or interactions. If you record a severe symptom, the app shows a reminder to contact a doctor, but it does not assess your condition.
7. Reminders can fail
Reminders are ordinary notifications on your phone. They may not appear if notifications are switched off, your phone is off or in a focus mode, or the app was removed. Do not rely on STCKD alone for any medicine where timing is critical.
8. Your responsibility and the law where you live
Some compounds that people track are prescription-only, not approved for human use, or restricted or illegal in some countries. STCKD does not sell, supply or endorse any substance. You are responsible for what you take, for checking that it is legal where you live, and for the accuracy of what you enter.
9. Talk to a qualified professional
Talk to a doctor, pharmacist or other qualified healthcare professional before you start, stop, change or combine any medicine, supplement, peptide or other compound, and whenever you have questions about your health. Do not ignore or delay professional advice because of something you saw in the app.
10. Emergencies
STCKD is not an emergency service. If you think you are having a medical emergency or a serious reaction, call your local emergency number straight away: 911 in the United States and Canada, 112 in the European Union. Elsewhere, use your local emergency number.
