Delete Your Account and Data
This page explains how to delete your STCKD account and your data, with or without the app, what is deleted straight away, and what stays for a while and why.
1. Delete your account in the app
- Open STCKD and sign in.
- On the Today screen, tap your avatar to open Profile.
- Tap Delete account & all data.
- Read the confirmation and confirm.
The confirmation tells you what is deleted, what Apple keeps, and how long backups last.
2. What is deleted straight away
When you confirm, we delete:
- your STCKD account (your sign-in record, email address and sign-in identifiers);
- everything synced to our database: your compounds, doses, schedules, stacks, notes, injection sites, symptoms, mood, energy, weight and settings;
- your data on the phone you used to delete the account, which is then signed out.
3. What stays for a while
Some copies cannot be removed instantly. We do not use them for anything, and they are deleted automatically:
| What | How long | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Database backups | up to 7 days after deletion (Supabase daily backups roll over) | Backups protect everyone's data against loss. Your data disappears from them as old backups are replaced. |
| Sign-in and security logs (for example IP address, device details, sign-in times) | 7 days (Supabase platform and sign-in logs) | Security and abuse prevention. |
| Account emails sent to you (confirmation, password reset) in our email provider's logs | 30 days (Resend delivery logs of account emails) | Delivery records kept by our email provider. |
| Emails you sent to support@stckd.app | 2 years after the conversation ends | To answer you and to show we handled requests properly. |
| Purchase and subscription records | Kept by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy | Apple sells STCKD subscriptions, so Apple holds these records, not us. |
4. Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your account or the app does not cancel STCKD Pro. Apple keeps billing you until you cancel. To cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → STCKD → Cancel Subscription. You can also follow Apple's guide. The app reminds you of this before you delete your account.
5. Sign in with Apple or Google
If you used Sign in with Google, deleting your account also revokes STCKD's access to your Google account and signs you out of Google in the app. If you used Sign in with Apple, you can stop using your Apple Account with STCKD at any time: iPhone Settings → your name → Sign-In & Security → Sign in with Apple → STCKD → Stop Using Apple Account.
You can also check this yourself:
- Apple: on your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign-In & Security, then Sign in with Apple, choose STCKD and stop using it. The exact menu names can differ between iOS versions.
- Google: in your Google Account, go to Security, then your connections to third-party apps and services, choose STCKD and remove its access.
6. If you used the app without an account
As a guest, your data is kept on your device only, until you delete the app or its data. We never receive it. To delete it, delete the STCKD app from your phone. This also removes a few settings that stay on the phone after an account is deleted in the app, such as your age confirmation and the numbers last used in the calculator.
If your phone is backed up to iCloud or a computer, those backups may still contain a copy of the app's data until the backup is replaced or deleted.
7. Delete your account without the app
If you no longer have the app or cannot sign in:
- Email support@stckd.app from the email address of your STCKD account, with the subject "Delete my account".
- If you used Sign in with Apple with "Hide My Email", write from, or tell us, the relay address Apple created for STCKD.
- We check that the request really comes from the account holder. If we cannot tell from your email, we may send a message to the account's address and ask you to confirm. We never ask for your password.
- We delete the account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.
You can also use this route to ask for a copy of your data first. In the app, Profile also lets you export all your data as a file before you delete.
