Cookies and Device Storage
This page explains what STCKD stores on your devices, on our website stckd.app and in the app, and why. It adds to our Privacy Policy.
1. Summary
- Our website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
- The app stores your data on your iPhone so that it works. It uses no analytics, advertising or tracking.
- Everything listed here is strictly necessary for a service you asked for, so we do not show a consent banner.
2. Our website
stckd.app sets no cookies and uses no local storage, session storage or other browser storage. It loads no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, embedded videos or outside fonts. Everything comes from stckd.app itself.
Password-reset page. When you open a password-reset link from our email, this page connects to our sign-in provider, Supabase, to set your new password. The reset session is kept only in the page's memory. Nothing is saved in your browser, and the session is gone when you close the page.
Our website host, GitHub Pages, logs visitors' IP addresses for security. It does not use cookies for this.
3. The app
The app stores the following on your iPhone. It is all strictly necessary to provide the app you asked for:
| Name | Where | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
stckd:v1 | App storage (the app's local storage) | Everything you track, your settings and your STCKD Pro status on this iPhone, plus sync bookkeeping | Until you sign out, delete your account in the app, or delete the app | Strictly necessary |
stckd:age | App storage | Remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and when | Until you delete the app | Strictly necessary |
stckd:ack | App storage | Remembers that you read "How STCKD works", and when | Until you delete the app | Strictly necessary |
stckd:calc:v2 | App storage | The numbers you last used in the calculator | Until you delete the app | Strictly necessary |
stckd:firstLaunchAt, stckd:reviewAskedVersion | App storage | When you first opened the app and whether we already asked you to rate it, so Apple's rating prompt is not shown too often | Until you delete the app | Strictly necessary |
Sign-in session (item app.stckd.auth) | iOS Keychain, on this iPhone only | Keeps you signed in to your account | Until you sign out or delete your account | Strictly necessary |
| Google sign-in session | iOS Keychain and app settings, stored by Google's sign-in component | Lets you sign in with Google. Only used if you choose Google. | Stays after you sign out of STCKD. Access is revoked when you delete your account. Deleting the app also removes the app settings. | Strictly necessary |
| Scheduled reminders | iOS notification system | Shows your reminders. There is no push server. | Until you change or turn off the reminder | Strictly necessary |
| Temporary files | App cache | Creates the data export, monthly report or share card you asked to share | Deleted after you share | Strictly necessary |
__cf_bm | Set by Cloudflare for supabase.co (our database provider's network) | Tells people from automated bots, to protect our servers | 30 minutes | Strictly necessary |
About __cf_bm. Our database provider, Supabase, uses Cloudflare to protect its network. Cloudflare may send this bot-protection cookie with its answers when the app talks to our servers. It is not used to track you, and we cannot read it.
Data stored in the app is not sent to us unless you have an account and have given your health-data consent (see the Privacy Policy). Your iPhone backups (iCloud or computer) may include the app's storage.
4. Why there is no consent banner
The law (Slovak Act No. 452/2021 Coll. on Electronic Communications, §109(8), based on the EU ePrivacy Directive) requires consent before a website or app stores or reads information on your device. There is an exception for storage that is strictly necessary to provide a service you explicitly asked for. Everything above falls under that exception. If we ever add anything that is not strictly necessary, such as analytics, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
5. Your choices
- In the app: signing out removes your tracked data from that iPhone. Deleting your account removes it from our servers too. See Delete Your Account and Data.
- On your iPhone: deleting the app removes its storage and its scheduled reminders. You can turn notifications off in iPhone Settings.
- In your browser: our website stores nothing, so there is nothing to clear.
